The Ardente range wood-fired ovens specifications

Chamotte roof and bottom
The roof and bottom of these 3 ovens are created from refractory chamotte fired and crushed in France.
The bricklayers of Four Grand-Mère then combine this clay with water and aluminous cement to obtain a refractory mixture. They also add stainless steel fibres to the core for extra strength.
Thanks to this surprising ‘recipe’ and all our expertise, our bread and pizza ovens are stronger and longer lasting than those made of fine terracotta.
It is proven they are guaranteed for 10 years.

Wood ovens supplied fully equipped
All our ovens are available in a fully equipped version. This option comprises complete, high-quality insulation for the roof, and an 8 cm slab of vermiculite for the bottom.
In addition, the equipped version features a cast-iron exterior door and a connection nozzle, as well as a high-performance thermometer (roof thermometer for the Flamme and Grand Flamme models, or a laser thermometer for the Extra Flamme model).
